I love these shoes. They are very flexible as they are soft leather. They slip on and the sizing is very generous so they last much longer than regular sized shoes. They are great for dry or indoor areas. I would not have him wear these if he was going to be walking somewhere wet or cold. Also, the soles have gotten darker as they have been worn. Doesn't affect the function.

The slip ons are great. They are so easy to get on and off and although my toddler doesn't like having shoes on, he loves these, probably because they are so light weight. We have hard wood floors and I am happy to non slip options instead on socks.

But Amazon replaced them immediately and we have not had an issue with the second pair. Because he's crawling, the white part on top of the shoe is getting pretty dirty, but still very cute.
