I've tried various types of cross body bags but find these Madison style LeSportsac bags the best for me. My shoulders and back can no longer handle the weight of other materials as I walk a long day shopping. This rip stop nylon is tuff and very light weight and the prints are fun and unexpected, the colors stylish.

If you're like me, looking at the dimensions you'll wonder how you can possibly fit everything you'll need in such a small place. I've found I carry to much anyway. The smaller size forces you the pare it down and keep it tidy. The three zippered compartments help keep everything organized. In the main compartment I have room for sunglasses, a small wallet, iPad mini, comb, and a small makeup pouch. In the upper outside pocket I keep my cell, hankies, pen, business cards, and receipts. In the lower outside pocket I keep my keys. I wear it cross body and I can access it easily, working the zippers with one hand though the bag is unstructured.

Works for me.

I got this to be my new everyday bag and it's wonderful. I got it in bejeweled and it's a very pretty pattern with colors that compliment most of my wardrobe. I love the front zipper pockets. My cell phone and keys live in the smaller pocket and my ipod, earphones, lip gloss, and gym locker hang in the bigger pocket. I have enough room in the main body of the bag for my bigger wallet (the kind that holds a check book), sunglass case, and there's room to spare for a couple other items like my kindle or a couple diapers but no more that than. I like it because it's just the right size for me. The strap is adjustable and sturdy. It's not bulky or heavy. The fabric and stitching seems extremely heavy duty like that of my sports duffle bag. I had originally ordered the smaller version of this bag, the Kasey, but had to return it due to it being just big enough to fit my wallet only in the body of the bag. So if you're debating what size to get and you will be caring more than the bare essentials, but not a ton of stuff this just may be the bag for you.

On some lesportsac bags (I have had many thru the years) you can unclip the handle and clip on another, but this one is not designed that way or i would have kept it. I do love the animal tango print. Very attractive.

My purses are usually Kipling and I decided to try this based on similar appearance but at a much less expensive price. It is a cute purse. Has three compartments (the main compartment and two smaller ones in the front). A small zippered compartment inside the main compartment would have been nice :-)

My only gripe is that the passive end of the main zipper sticks out. If you stuff it into the purse, it's a struggle to open the zipper all the way. A little but of a design flaw...

While this bag is messenger style, it is not as nice as it appears. Firstly, the strap for the bag is rather wide and it looks and feels like material manufacturers use to make seatbelts. The strap is adjustable, but i'm 5' 4", and the top of the bag when adjusted all the way down sits right at my hip-I feel like this bag wouldn't be more comfortable for anyone taller, unless you want it sitting under your arm. Next, the zippers are all made out of metal, and there are three in total, so you make a racket walking around with all that metal banging against itself. Lastly, the bag has three pockets. One big main pocket, and two smaller pockets. You can put a smaller water bottle and book into this bag, and it looks okay. Anything more, and the bag bulges and looks unattractive. Furthermore, the way these pockets are designed, makes it so that if you stuff the main pocket full of stuff, the other two pockets get displaced, so you can't actually put anything into them! The material for the bag feels sturdy, but it is not waterproof. Glad I only bought the bag when it was on sale. To conclude:

-The bag has lots of space, but has drawbacks such as the seat-belt strap, and the noisy zippers.
